This project involved the transformation of a former hair salon into a dedicated expansion space for an established speech therapy clinic. Located adjacent to the main practice, the unit was redesigned to support specialized activities for both children and adults.

The existing space required full renovation, including wall repairs, updated finishes, flooring improvements, reception reconfiguration, kitchenette installation, and a bathroom refresh. The challenge was twofold: designing within a compact footprint while creating an environment that felt engaging for children yet professional and comfortable for adult users.

Color selections were intentionally guided by the clinic’s logo, incorporating purple accents, black architectural detailing, and subtle turquoise elements to ensure brand continuity. Soft neutrals and natural wood textures were introduced to balance vibrancy with calm.

Completed with a total budget under $8,000, the project demonstrates how thoughtful planning, strategic material selection, and intentional design can deliver meaningful transformation without compromising quality.

The result is a cohesive and welcoming extension of the main clinic — enhancing functionality while reflecting the practice’s identity and supporting clients of all ages.
